Technically outside of Transylvania, in the capital of Banat region, it offers good links to Germany, Italy, Spain, France and United Kingdom. Timisoara Traian Vuia Airport is only two hours drive from Sibiu, on the motorway, so it is another excellent choice for flying to Transylvania. Apart from your normal European destinations, it offers flights to Chisinau (Rep of Moldova) making it an excellent option if you are coming from Moscow.
For your transportation needs, it is well connected via public transport or you can use our Transfers section to book your journey. It is better than a taxi, as with them you never know what the price and the car is going to be like.

The STPT Expres 4 line (E4) connects the terminal to the city center. The bus runs approximately once per hour on weekdays, and less frequently on weekends. Timetables are printed and displayed near the bus stop. The Expres 4 B line connects the airport directly with Timișoara North railway station, the main station in the city. However, this bus only runs a few times per day, to connect the more important flights.
