Sibiu, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe,  a landmark of Saxon heritage in Romania

• Duration:  9-11  hours ( aprox. 4 hours and a half in the car on rural Transilvania)

departure from Targu Mures half an hour drive we'll have a coffee at Castle Haller – the first castle/mansion transformed in to a hotel/pension in Transilvania , a beautiful baroque building with historical interiors

• after 40 minutes drive we'll explore by foot the historical medieval town of Medias and discover were Vlad the Impaler was kept prisoner and the linen tower of Saint Margaret Church
• in 20 minutes we'll arrive in Valea Viilor to climb the stairs in tho the church tower and walk along the watch path
• after 50 minutes’ drive we’ll park the car  and explore Sibiu  on foot this beautifully preserved  medieval town for 2-3 hours then back to Targu Mures
